A great deal of content, clearly organised and readable without barriers.
The ESNM is the leading scientific society in the field of neurogastroenterology and motility, based in Vienna with over 3,500 members worldwide. Their website is the central place where everything comes together: current research and news, international conferences, published studies and guidelines, continuing education webinars, the newsletter.
The challenge with this much content is not fitting it in, but keeping it accessible. The design draws on the society's colour palette while remaining deliberately understated - sans-serif throughout, focused on readability and calm, because this is a site for reading and searching. Science that is taken seriously, yet remains inviting.
Below the surface, it gets interesting.
Membership management, documents, and access that reaches beyond the site itself.
Behind the public-facing site, more is happening: the management of over 3,500 members, recorded and maintained by the office in Vienna, alongside an intranet for the society's documents. What appears calm and clear on the outside organises the workflows of a global organisation on the inside.
Members feel the most immediate benefit at a point that barely draws attention: registering with the ESNM automatically grants access to a specialist section of a US medical journal - no second login, no detour. A single sign-on that opens doors beyond the boundaries of the platform itself. Exactly where technology becomes invisible, comfort is greatest.

Design is calibrated for both accessibility and scientific credibility.
